Hi all, I would now like to take the time to post the forum rules.
_______________________________________________________________________________________
1. Offensive language.
You may not use language that can be thought of as offensive, racist, obscene or inappropriate. This includes but is not limited to solicitation, racism, spamming, swearing, blackmail and posting threats.
__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Q. Why do we have this rule?
A. All members deserve to be treated as equals, and all must be able to enjoy their time on the forum.
Q. May we purposely mis-spell the word in order to disguise it?
A. No, using symbols/mis-spelling in order to create offence will not be tolerated. This includes using asterisks.
Q. I was called a 'Noob', is this offensive?
A. No, it is very common to be called this in any forum you will come across, all it means is 'new player' or in this case, forumer. If you feel that this word has been used in an offensive context, please report it to the 'Rule-Breaking thread/post sticky.
Q: Double posting, or one word posting, is it permitted?
A: Sadly, no. It is classed as spamming. If you accidently double-post (posting something that you have previously posted in the post before), please edit and put 'Mods delete please, double-post'. It must be edited within one hour of posting the mistake, or punishment shall follow.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
2. Personal Details.
To protect our forumers privacy, you must not, in this forum ask for others personal details.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Q. Why do we have this rule?
A. Pretty obvious - The reason we have this rule in force is to guard your privacy and ensure you are safe. Please remember that you don't know these people in real-life.
Q. What do we class as 'Personal details'?
A. Phone/Mobile numbers, addresses, full names, anything like that.
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
3. Buying/advertising websites selling Game gp.
Why do we have this rule?
To protect forum users from scams and as buying Game Gold is usually against the game's Creators' Terms and Conditions.
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
4. Website Advertising. Except Moderator verified websites.
_________________________________________________________________________________________
Why do we have this rule?
To protect users from danger on the internet, eg. Malware.
Also, please before posting any links, PM them to me so I can test them. Anyone posting links that haven't been verified, will be punished.
The way to get the site verified by an Administrator, is to send them,by Pming, the exact link of which you wish to post. Then they will reply, regarding whether you may post it or not. Remember, you must send the full address that you wish to post. eg. www.mcafee.com/products instead of just www.mcafee.com.
Please note: The links in this section redirect to the official Mcafee site, I therefore hold no responsibility for any actions that occur outside of my website.(The links are safe anyway )
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
5. Moderator/Admin Impersonation.
Why do we have this rule?
Moderators are trusted individuals, they give helpful advice, but if someone pretended to be one, other forumers would be told things wrongly.
This rule is for your own good.
____________________________________________________________________________________________
6. Encouraging others to break the Code Of Conduct/Terms and Conditions
Why do we have this rule?
The reason for having this rule is pretty obvious. Encouraging or helping others to break the rules is as bad as breaking them yourself, and therefore anyone doing so will be treated as if they were the one breaking the rule.
_________________________________________________________________________________________
If you do come across anyone breaching any of these rules, please post using the Reporting template and fill in the correct details. The Rule-Breaking Thread/post sticky.
Also, when signing up, please look at the terms and conditions first.
Remember, stay safe and follow these rules,
Thanks and happy foruming.
Dan
